A guide to:
Your New Alex Righetto Portrait
Creating a custom portrait is a distinctive mark of style and individuality.
Whether you are celebrating a loved one, a special moment, or building a strong visual identity, you are engaging in an act of rare beauty and deep meaning.
Connecting with the past
The tradition of portraiture spans centuries.
From the iconic works of Leonardo da Vinci, such as the portrait of Lisa del Giocondo, to the refined interiors of 19th-century Parisian salons, the bold strokes of Picasso, and the solemn effigies of popes in ancient Rome.
It is a fascinating journey made of gazes and stories. And now, it has a new page to write:
Yours.

Portraiture goes beyond photography. It is a manual, inspired gesture that does not necessarily follow objective reality. More often, it seeks to represent an emotion, a sentiment, or an idea.It is a personal experience and a truly unique one.
To simplify the process and achieve a result that truly represents you, here are the key steps of the creative journey.
The Complete Process
Step 1
The Initial Conversation
The first step, which you may have already taken, is a preliminary meeting with Alex to explore the main concept of the portrait together.
This is where the heart of the work is born: a moment of dialogue, listening, and shared vision.

Step 2
The Custom Questionnaire
Next comes a personalized questionnaire designed to help the artist capture your unique nuances, preferences, emotions, and details. It is a fundamental step to turn a simple image into a deeply personal portrait.
Step 3
The Photoshoot
Alex may have recommended a photoshoot before starting the portrait.
In the early days of portraiture, the subject would pose directly in front of the artist in the studio. This was an intense and immersive experience still considered the most complete form of reference.
However, this type of session requires time and physical presence. To make the process more accessible, a thoughtfully directed photoshoot can serve as an excellent alternative, capturing key expressions, angles, and details for the painting process.

Step 4
The Artistic Process
Once all materials are collected, Alex begins the creative phase. This is when the idea takes form, where artistic technique, sensitivity, and vision come together.
Step 5
The Delivery
At last, the most anticipated moment: the delivery of your portrait.
This is when the artwork begins its true life. A unique page has been written, yours. It will be seen and appreciated today, tomorrow, and perhaps by your children and their children.
