Alex Righetto Art Projects
Through his artistic practice, Alex Righetto develops several long-term projects. Some of these extend beyond painting to include multimedia elements, technology, and storytelling. Among them are Romeo and Juliet: The Metamorphosis and the Radiance collection, each developed around a distinct concept and approach.
Romeo and Juliet: The Metamorphosis
A contemporary reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy. The project examines communication, social isolation, the fragility of human relationships, and the impact of technology on contemporary life.
Monalisa's Daughter
A contemporary reflection on one of the most recognizable symbols in Western art. Through the dialogue between presence and absence, memory and loss, and immortality and human fragility, the work explores the relationship between what remains and what disappears.
The Radiance Collection
Righetto’s Radiance Collection focuses on human dignity and vulnerability, addressing the issue of human trafficking through light, color, and symbolism. His artistic commitment to raising awareness of this issue was recognized by the City of Miami.
